Deister Concentrator Awarded Major Asian
Contract
Deister Concentrator of Ft. Wayne, IN, USA, has been
awarded a major contract to supply concentrating tables
to Nui Phao Mining Joint Venture Company Limited (“Nuiphaovica”).
The tables will be used in its Nui Phao mine in Vietnam.
Total value of the contract is US$7.4 million.
Deister will ship 95 triple-deck (999) tables and 16
double-deck (99) tables. The projected date for initial
shipments to begin is 1 July. When in full operation,
the Nui Phao mine will be the largest mineral separation
table plant in the world.
The Nui Phao mine will be an open pit
tungsten-fluorspar mine located 80km north of Hanoi. It
is expected to be fully operational by the middle of
2009.
Deister Concentrator (deisterconcentrator.com) is an
independently owned manufacturing company in Ft. Wayne,
IN, USA. The Sherman Group, an investment group from
northeastern Indiana, purchased Deister Concentrator in
May of 2005 and relocated it to Ft. Wayne in July 2006
from Knoxville, TN.
